Teaching Openings

Most of Lansing Christian School's job openings for teachers will be posted with Christian Schools International on the bottom of this linked page. Please submit a resume and email of interest to Jon Postma, principal, if you would like to explore any of these opportunities.

If you can enthusiastically point students toward Christ and teach them about His creation from a Reformed perspective, we would love to talk to you about joining our team!

For all positions, a current teaching license from any state is greatly desired. An active membership in an evangelical church, and agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Practice is required.

K-8 Music Teacher:

We currently have a full-time position shared between our school and Calvin Christian School’s band program in South Holland. The position involves teaching band and both schools, 6th-8th choir at Lansing Christian, and K-5 music at Lansing Christian. We could continue this as a full-time position; however, this position could be split into several part-time positions consisting of a focus on teaching band, a focus on teaching choir, or a focus on teaching K-5 general music. We are open to God's leading and provision on this.

Please submit a resume and email of interest to Mr. Jon Postma, principal, if you would like to explore this opportunity.

4th grade Spanish Immersion Teacher:

Our Spanish immersion students are excited to build on their successes the past four years as they learn more about God’s world through the lens of the Spanish language for the 2019-20 school year.

Fluency in Spanish required.

Please submit a resume and email of interest to Mr. Jon Postma, principal, if you would like to explore this opportunity.

4th grade English Track Teacher:

We currently have a full-time teaching position available for our 4th grade English Track class.

Please submit a resume and email of interest to Mr. Jon Postma, principal, if you would like to explore this opportunity.

Substitutes are needed for all grade levels. Sometimes opportunities are planned ahead of time. Sometimes opportunities are last minute. If you have a grade-level range preference, that can be considered. An active membership in an evangelical church, and agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Practice is required. Contact Mr. Jon Postma, principal, if you would like to explore this opportunity.
