Welcome to 1st grade!

This year will be an exciting time in the life of your       child. 

They will be reading 40 Step by Step books and learning 100 High Frequency Words by Christmas!  Learning and MASTERING the

facts through 12 will be a year long process.  Your child will also learn many memory verses throughout the year as they grow in the knowledge of Jesus as their Friend.  Various other things we'll be doing is exploring the World of Science and Social St.  Hands  on Activities will also be used during this time of instruction.Of course we can't forget Gym, Musc, Library, Reading Buddies, etc. which each child looks forward to.  So you see your child will be kept busy through the year learning much while having a great time!
