Physical Education

Hi, I'm Mr. Henry Huitsing. I am the Physical Education instructor. I attended Valparaiso University and Dordt College. I am a member of IAHPERD. My classes are structured for fitness, learning, recreational and competitive play. My favorite activities include hockey, badminton, and basketball. In my spare time, I like to take of our pond and cruise in our black '57 Chevy. Coaching the eighth grade girls basketball team has always been a highlight of my school school.   In fact, the team has been selected and we could be pretty good this year.  Check out the schedule and watch us play! We will be practicing and playing basketball and floor hockey for most of this quarter. A FANTASY  HOCKEY league is in the planning stages for the junior high students.  Start watching the Blackhawks so you pick the right players.  More details later. Grades 3-8 just finished physical fitness testing and most seemed to enjoy seeing their improvement over last year's scores and comparing themselves to national averages.
