Dear Parents,

The Fall Festival theme basket committee is asking us as a class to supply things centering around  a “Baking Bonanza” theme.  We have three items in our basket so far…. Please help us fill our basket by Friday, Sept. 10.  Thanks for supporting our wonderful Parents’ Club!

BIBLE: This coming week we look at Moses, Joshua and begin the judges. We are memorizing Psalm 105:1-6.  Ask your kids about the motions.

READING: Get Up and Go is our story for next week. We’ll be working on  “-ake and –ame” in phonics.

D.O.L. and SPELLING: Unit 2 –Tests are on Friday.

MATH: We are working on addition. So far we know how to add by counting on +1, +2 and +3 and doubles.

SCIENCE: We did our first experiment in Science!  They were excellent observers and scientists!  Ask your child about it.

Mrs. Schutt asks that the children bring stuffed animals to draw next week Friday.  Your child will know if they are to bring one and which one they said they would bring.
