     We have started the year with new chapters in each subject so we don't have any tests planned except our weekly Spelling test. A Social Studies project has been assigned.  It is due on Friday, Jan. 27.  The students also have to write a book report for Book-It this month.  It is due, along with the Book-It slip, on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

      One thing I could use your help with is the Friday Folders.  Every Friday you child should bring home a folder with corrected papers in it. Some of these papers have to be signed and returned.  The folder should also be signed and returned on Monday.  Please ask your child for this folder and sign what needs to be signed and return the papers and folder on Monday.  There are a few students who are not bringing the folder and papers back signed.  This is my way of making sure you are aware of the work your child is doing.  Thank you for your help!
