2nd Grade Math

During the months of April and May we will be working on adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers.  The class will also begin working with shapes, and will learn how to measure length, volume and mass.  We will finish up the year with a Geometry Hunt in the neighborhood around our school.    

3rd Grade Reading

As we finish up the year, third grade will read the stories "If You Made a Million", "Alejandro's Gift", "Rocking and Rolling", and "The Armadillo from Amarillo". We will continue to learn about verbs, contractions, and adverbs.
