LCS offers an educational program for students in grades K-8. The Bible is at the center of all instruction and all teaching is done from a Christian perspective. The academic program at Lansing Christian meets all state requirements and is fully recognized. In addition to excellent academics, Lansing Christian seeks to provide an all-around development of young people patterned after what is recorded of Christ Himself in Luke 2:52. | ||

Lansing Christian School has developed a curriculum and finds textbooks to fit that curriculum. These textbooks may not necessarily be Christian textbooks, but all courses are taught from a Christian perspective. The curriculum changes to meet the developing occupational, sociological, and technological situations in our society, and yet, the basic principles of Christ-centered education do not change. The academic program at Lansing Christian meets all state requirements and is fully recognized. | ||

| A: | The average class size is 20 students. If a section exceeds 25 students, then another section is opened to keep the classes at a reasonable size. | ||

| A: | Yes, the Special Education Department provides service to students in need of additional educational assistance or a small group learning environment for all grades, kindergarten through eighth. Students meet with the teachers for as little as 15 minutes per day, up to a maximum of half of their school day. | ||

| A: | LCS families benefit from the sales at Harvest Thrift Center, a resale shop specifically designed to help families with tuition reduction, by receiving a tuition credit twice per school year. Families may also participate in C.A.R.T. (Certificate Allowing Reduction in Tuition) year-round. Future families may “bank” C.A.R.T. credit to be used toward the future tuition of the child(ren). Contact the office for more information regarding either of these programs. | ||
